The Professional Wellness Academy is a state-wide network of professional therapists and counselors who assist doctors and MAT physicians with a ‘whole person’ approach to OUD patient care.

With support from DHCS and the Sierra Health Foundation, we are holding free monthly networking and educational meetings to discuss the Medicated Assisted Treatment for Opiate Use Disorder patients, where in communities of color, patients are experiencing a disproportionate higher addiction rate due in part to the lack of medicated assistance + Counseling resources, AND the underlying historical trauma, and economies of health care systems.  Join us to discuss:

  • Discussion of most compelling SAMSHA-Approved Treatment Plans
  • Federally Required Opiate Treatment Standards of Care
  • Sharing of Best-Practices for Medicated Assisted Treatment and Opiate Addicts
  • Networking and Collaborative Opportunities for Local MAT Prescribers and Behavioral Health Professionals& Facilities
